Collate option is grayed out with latest Linux driver

Using the Latest Print Linux Driver recommended by HP. Have issues. When trying to print multiple copies they are either uncollated or collated based on the default setting in the driver.
we are unable to choose collate while trying to print if the default option is uncollated or vice versa
