Driver issue
Here are the OS details :
Distributor ID: Debian
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 9.5 (stretch)
Release: 9.5
Codename: stretch
Also version of cups : Installed: 2.2.1-8+deb9u4
Apart from general printing(printing from mail, browser and native applications like adobe and word ..etc) that goes via the linux server on which we have cups installed and also papercut to manage users and generate reports.
We also have ERM/CRM kind of applications like Microsoft Navision and Manhattan Scale which run on Windows servers and have the printers directly attached to them. On these windows servers we have papercut agents which help us to manage the permissions and also help us with reporting. [ We have no issues with this setup ]
Currently the issues are :
1) When a user directly prints from their local PC/Laptop a document which is huge size the printer does not respond with rhq-pr-01.ppd.new driver attached for reference. [ So ERP/CRM systems don't come into picture here]
2) When using rhq-pr-01.ppd.old driver we are unable to print duplicate documents. i.e ex: printing 'n' copies of a single page does not work.
