hp laserjet mfp m130fw print grey background

Asked by augras

Hi,
I bought hp laserjet mfp m130fw one month ago because it is full compatible min. hplip 3.16.11 and with chromeOS and don't need a driver plugin on https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index. Note it is not anymore compatible with chromeOS since more than one year because the driver is not anymore in the list !.
I'm with hplip 3.17.9 and there is a grey background on each print from each softwares i use (LibreOffice, pdf readers...).
Cups is 2.1.3 and the driver is HP LaserJet MFP m129-m134, hpcups 3.17.9 (color, 2-sided printing) : note color and 2-sided printing... this printer is only black and white and not 2-sided.
I'm with puppy linux based on xenial and the printer is on the network by ethernet.
This printer works fine on other linux with hplip 3.18 : it's not a hardware problem. I think it's a driver problem but what can i do ?
Thank you for your help,
Philippe
