HP 108W There was an error during the CUPs operation client-error-document-format-not supported

Asked by Lakshmikanth Bhat

Hi I am from HP Tech support for PC,

Customer is using HP T430 Thin client with Thinpro OS(Ubuntu 16.x kernel)

Printer is connected via USB we have tried in built drivers PCL 5c , PCL 6 , PostScript , PCL Laser, Generic text-only Printer but when we give test page we get below error.

"There was an error during the CUPs operation client-error-document-format-not supported"

I cannot find HP Laser 108w from the Linux support printer model list.
https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index

Let me know if there is Linux driver support for this model.

Regards,
Lakshmikanth

The file now provided by HP has changed its name. Apart from that, the information
at the Debian wiki is accurate. This thread should be marked by the OP as solved.

Can you help with this problem?
