duplex prints second page upside down (solved)

Ubuntu 20.04 duplex printing I have the printer set to device manager/portrait/two sided (short edge flip)/(normal print first page first). Then when I print every other page is printed on the backside upside down. I see no way to change this. The only choices for double sided is 1. long edge standard 2.short edge flip. 3 off. I don't understand why the only option for short edge is flip. Is there no setting for printing both sides the same direction? NEVERMIND the duplex jargon was confusing. I took a chance an chose long edge standard not knowing if that was correct. It was the correct choice duplex now prints correctly.
