Need hplip-plugin .so file for mips-linux(32 bit)

Asked by June.Law

Hello.I want to find hplip-plugin for mips-linux.any suggestion will be appreciated.

I bought a HP m1136 MFP,and i need to use this printer on my mips linux.
I installed hplip, now i can print; and 'scanimge -L' was ok, but when I scaned ,
i met a 'failed: Error during device I/O'.
From hplip-support , i knew that hplip-plugin must be installed for m1136,too.

I downloaded hplip-plugin, but failed to install it. for there aren't mips.so files,
(only arm.so and x86.so). (i wondered, why , is it difficult to compile them for mips?)

what should i do. where can i find these mips.so files?

thanks.

HPLIP doesn't do mips.

I believe this is enough information for you to mark this issue as
solved.

no, it doesn't on mips. but hplip was not compiled for arm at v3.13.3, see:

https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37273

and now hilip-plugin has arm and x86 versions, so, maybe some good guys will like to comiple it for mips.

for we need hp m1136 work on mips, i belive there are many like us.
