HP ENVY Photosmart 7858 Scanner connection problem

I connected the HP ENVY Photosmart 7858 on wifi and it prints without any issues. However when I try to scan over wifi, there is no scanner linked. When I use HPLIP to connect the printer again, it gives an error message. What is the best way to connect the scanner.
