Can I use the HP Scanjet Pro 2500 f1 with Linux?

Asked by Achim Rothe

Hello,

I am looking for either a dupelx scanner or a multifunction color laser with duplex scanning and printing.
While printing seems not to be an issue with ArchLinux and HP-devices (how nice!), I could not find any information if scanning is working just as fine as printing in ArchLinux.

So my question: Will the HP Scanjet Pro 2500 f1 work in ArchLinux?

Which of your multifunction color laser devices with duiplex scan and printing will work fully with ArchLinux? (Small business)

Thanks for your help.

Yours,
Achim Rothe

Check this site: https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index

You can find this device there. Please pay attention to the necessary version of HPLIP. The manual installation has obstacles.
