my printer is telling me that it has a printer or ink system and will not print

My printer said we were out of black ink. Changed cartridge and it said there is a printer or ink system problem. I unplugged the printer then pluged back in and same message appeared. Help

Hi that might be due to incompatible ink cartridge. You have to check with hardware person.
