My HP Photosmart 2610 scans only up to US-Letter, no Din-A4

If i try to use my HP-Scanner for reading a Document in Din-A4 format (not only up to US-Letter), i can't select this option in the scanner menue.
So a Part of the Page is cut-off beyond 11".
Is there a solution (firmware-update ...)?

As Ubuntu 18.04 was not supported in 3.17.10

And download the plugin from https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/plugins
 and install the plugin as below:

sh YOUR_DOWNLOADED_PLUGIN_FILE

and try again"
