Ubuntu 18.04 support for ScanJet Pro 2500 f1

Is there a fix for HPLIP to support HP ScanJet Pro 2500 f1 under Ubuntu 18.04?

Greetings. Sorry, I should have written my question more precisely.

I understand the current ver of HPLIP supports that scanner.

However - as many have previously reported over several months - when one attempts to install current HPLIP v3.19.11 or 3.19.12, error msgs prevent for several unmet dependencies, most having to do with Python.

Just lately, I have been scanning the various Linux & Ubuntu forums again to determine if the issue's been resolved in HPLIP.

Can you please let me know which dependencies are failing in ubuntu 18.04 for you?
