HPLIP printer: Cannot "Finish Setup Online". Printer driver is installed.

HPLIP driver (3.19.8) is installed -- with defaults. HPLIP Status Service appears in Sys Tray. LibreOffice says job was printed. OfficeJet Pro 8210 says print job rejected because printer setup not yet finished. Printer connected via USB port. I went to www.123.hp.com/setup -- no help there for Linux users -- that I can discern. 8210 is waiting for me to finish setup, but I cannot see how to do that under Linux. I need to satisfy 8210 that printer setup is finished.
