I have a chromebook and cannot connect printer to wireless

Asked by Laurel King

I am very, very new to Linux and all it entails, so please be patient with me. I am trying to install a HP Deskjet 2622 onto my Chromebook. It will work via USB but I don't have access to the router (I rent a room in a house, and the router is nowhere to be found that I can get to). My phone app tells me to go to the website 123.hp.com but it then tells me to go to Windows (which I obviously don't have). It's a circle!

I have no idea what kind of system I have, or how to get to command prompts, or anything. I used Windows my entire life so I am totally clueless.

HELP!
