OfficeJet Pro 9015 support?

Is the OfficeJet Pro 9015 supported and, if not, will it be? It's not listed at https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index, but the very similar 9010 is.

It's a few months old now, and according to the HPLIP FAQ, "most newer models are supported 2-3 weeks after the public release." Also: "Some printers are unsupported and will most likely stay unsupported. The reasons for this may include issues with intellectual property, technical issues, or limited production numbers."

I'm worried that if it's not supported already, maybe it never will be? So, I'm waiting for a clear indication of existing or coming support before buying one.

Could you please clarify your answer: Are you saying that you will consider my request for future releases, or are you committing to support the 9015 in a future release?
