HP-Setup says wirelss adapter is not turned on.

I'm running Linux Mint ver 19.1, with an HP ENVY 6255 wireless printer.
HP-Set reports that the wireless adapter is not turned on.

I connect to the internet by wireless all the time. The laptop shows the the wireless card is turned on.
The HP driver is the latest from HP's web site.

HP-setup will not configure the printer for wifi. I print by wifi using CUPS.

Can you help?
