HPLIP reports wifi adapter not turned on.

Asked by Ernest Bazzinotti on 2019-10-02

I'm trying to connect a wireless printer (HP ENVY 6225. I run HPLIP and it finds the printer, but won't continue the install. HPLIP reports that the wireless adapter is not turned on. I'm running Linux Mint ver 19.1. I am connected to the internet using a wifi card. Can you help?

Hello again,

Sorry about the confusion.
I found a log file (by accident) that was created by the hp-check command.
Hope this helps.

Yes, I'm still having a problem.

Sincerely,

 Hello one more time,

I went to the HP site and downloaded the latest install file for Linux Mint .
The install went well, as expected.

I created another log file because I still can't get the wifi to work with my printer.
Same error(s).
I hope I'm not driving you crazy with this.

Sincerely,

Ernest Bazzinotti
