Update dhcp ipadress of printer

Asked by TINK-LONG-KI

I use HPLIP 3.16.11 on a Debian Strech and I use a printer connected to a network switch and the ipaddress is provide by dhcp (no possibility to have static DHCP address).
I would want to know if it was possible to update the ipaddress of the device without re-installed it each time the ipddress change.
I try these actions but unsuccessfully:

-by root hp-makeuri <new ipaddress>
-modify hplip.conf file with new ipaddress

But the device always get the old ipaddress.

To fix it I must to remove the 2 device (printer and fax) et re-add its.

My printer is an HP Officejet5740.

Thank you for your support.

Best Regards

Willy
