Images in page of text not printing

Asked by Micah Tapman

I'm printing a boarding pass from Southwest Airlines. The printed page should have mixed areas of text and graphics. Most of the page is printed without problem, however the images that represent the Boarding Group and Position don't print at all, just a blank area where they should be. The page is a web page and I can see the images (50px x 50px GIF, http://www.southwest.com/images/boarding/boardingA.gif, for example).

The other images, such as the barcode and the advertisements they put at the bottom are printing without a problem.

I also tried printing to a PDF first, same result that way.

Printer is an HP M2727nf, ethernet connection, lpd://192.168.1.2/PASSTHRU.

Driver: HP LaserJet M2727 MFP Series Postscript (recommended).

Any assistance would be appreciated.

It seems like background images aren't being included in the print job. Assuming you're trying to print from Firefox, in the Print window:

* Before printing (to PDF or your printer), click the Options tab.
* Make sure the "Print Background Images" option is checked.
* Click Print.
