hplip on opensuse 12.1 vm print with hp deskjet 1000

I am in a VM Gnome Opensuse,the printer works for hp local but it defauts to the host machine first,windows 8.1.The instalation windows 10 has gone last april,because there was a problem of security not resolved.Now I need a driver to support
the printer which is use only to e-print of PSC printers.When this is resolved,can I install this printer on the Virtual Machine
Oracle 6.0 with any linux virtual machine,but this is difficult without linux's drivers.
