hp-scan has an incorrect ip address for my c4700. can it be changed?

I cannot access my photosmart c4700 scanner from hp-scan as it has a different ip address (192.168.15.146) to the ip address of the c4700 (192.168.0.55).
Is it possible to easily change the ip address held by hp-scan.

Could be some network issue. If PC and scanner in the same network. We can access the scanner easily.
