Scanner HP MFP M28 (all in one laser)

Hi, I acquired a multifunctional HP (HP Laserjet MFP M28) that I use under Xubuntu 18.10.The print function works very well.The scanner function takes a minute between the time of the request and the time of the scan trigger. This is very long, and with each new page. Is there a way to make the scanner go faster ? Thanks.

I am french and my english is poor, sorry :) .

I have the same problem. I have a HP Laserjet MFP M28w printer and i use hplip 3.18.4. My O.S. is Xubuntu 18.04 LTS and i have an HP 250 G3.

I try this printer on Windows 7 : no similar problem. It's a bug in Linux driver, I think...

There is a time laps of 50 seconds between the command to scan (with Simple scan for example) and the effective start of the scan.

So, it works, but it necessitate a very long time between 2 scans..
