linuxmint 19.1, laserjet Pro MFP M127fn scan not working

upgraded from 19.0 to 19.1 now linuxmint 19.1, laserjet Pro MFP M127fn scan not working, other functions seem to be working ok.
64 bit system
what to do to fix please

I have a similar issue except i believe it is because the MFP M127fn is no longer one of the supported printers... Is there a way to still use my printer and use an older version? Where can i get this?
$ cd Desktop
$ sh hplip-3.17.10.run

wont run and says they cannot find the file even though i saved it in the right place... what does this mean?
