HPLIP prints banner page although unselected in CUPS

Hello HPLIP team,

I had an annoying problem for quite some time. I set the default printer options in the KDE system settings to make my MFP M125nw never print banner pages. I verified this setting in the CUPS interface, it was also set there. However in every print job I had to manually unselect the ending banner page manually or it would print. Now I found that there is a setting in HPLIP as well, which ignores the CUPS setting. I don't think this is an ideal situation, took me quite some time to figure this out. What's your opinion about this?
