failing to download HP drivers( hplip) for Linux mint ,even after following the intruction on the hp'sdeveloper portal page

after following the downloading instruction on the page ,i'm having problem downloading the hplip, I've even looked and followed the instruction on the page but still no joy.
I'm a complete novice when it comes to all this tech stuff and am not a computer minded so if you have instruction please print and send

Hi Biren,

please use the below command to install the run file.

"sh hplip-3.18.12(3).run"
