scanning segfaults on LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw
Using linux mint 19. With the HPLIP software from the repo, and with the latest (3.18.10), I get segmentation faults whenever I try to scan (using xsane or simple-scan) from a LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw. The device appears to be recognized fine, but any attempt to use scanning software, the software just quits. Running the software from the command line, it reports a segfault.
Here's a debug trace from simple-scan, not sure it will be any help, but it is the only diagnostic I have been able to find.
simple-scan -d hpaio:/
