HP 7740 All in one will not scan

I installed the Linux install package from the web. I have my 7740 all in one connected to the computer directly. Got it to print okay. Will not scan.

I have tried to research everything shown on the website, and asked this question once before, but still have no answer. I really have a challenge....I have to scan stuff right now.....Help appreciated!

Hi,
what was the error you see when you initiate the scan? Can you share the output of hp-check -t command?

Can you help with this problem?
