Stapler missing in HP driver

Asked by Fred van Gasteren

Dear support,

At this moment we are testing 2 HP E77650 (Flow) in an mixed environment.
The server is an Ubuntu server with also Papercut installed
The clients are Window10, Ubuntu and Mac os X

We are up and running but have a little issue with the Ubuntu driver, we can’t find the option “Staple” and the option Top output tray..

Ubuntu version = 18.04.1 lts

The printdriver is taken from the HPLip-3.18.9.run
When installing the driver it nicely removes hplip-3.18.7 and reboot also
Printing is working also with Libre office and document writer

When using Cups I see the option Sorting...this is only possible if you have an second output tray...this output tray is not mention in the ppd, even so the stapler is not there in the ppd.
When is open de ppd from the windows driver i can see the output tray and the stapler
hope u can add both options in the ppd so we can solve this case have an nice new order ;-)

Warm regards
Fred

Hi,
Can you update the full model number? Is it 77650 dn or dns? Few of the variants in the 77650 product series supports stapler. We need to know the exact model details to check this one.
