duplex scan on c410

Asked by asdf

Hello,

I own a HP Photosmart Premium c410b but I cannot get the duplex ADF to work for _scanning_ on ArchLinux.

scanimage does list that device, but does not mention "ADF duplex" as a possible source to select.
Neither does xsane have such an option.

Is there a way to have the printer report "ADF duplex" and make it scan double sided?

Kind regards

Hi,
The c410b series is not supported in hplip driver. Were you able to see this device listed in the hp-setup process?
Can you mention which driver verison you are using along with the distro details?

Thanks,
Srinivas

Hello,

thank you very much for your reply. Nevertheless I am a bit confused as the hplip web page mentions the C410 series as being supported:
HP PhotoSmart Prem c410 Series 3.10.9 No Full Color Yes Yes USB, Network

Yes the printer was recognized with the hp-setup tool.

I am running ArchLinux, installed hplip is version 3.18.6.

Thank you again ... if there is any helpful information I can add ... please let me know.

Cheers
Daniel
