hplip3.17.7. won't download, so can't use printer

Hi costelloe,

Please use the below mentioned link to download the latest hplip version.

https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/gethplip
Select your distro and click on download hplip button.

Also,Check the list of supported printers from :
https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index

*Hi, this version wouldn't download either, it tells me that some
characters are corrupted, but the printer is working from the computer but
won't scan into the computer, but I can work with that. Thanks. Gerry*
