cannot use my scanner HP Laserjet M1212nf MFP

Hi guys, i was setting up my HP Laserjet M1212nf MFP to work with Ubuntu 18.4 LTS,
following the hplip setup guide.
right now the Print function is working flawless but scanning document isn't and fax also does not seems to work.

my system is running with hebrew display language, that's why the log is a bit broken...
anyways, i've tried putting my user inside lp group, no changes,
tried sudo chmod 666 /etc/cups/ppd/HP_LaserJet_Professional_M1212nf_MFP.ppd.
still no change.
