HPLIP

HPLIP and Debian 9.3

Hello to each other,

I have now installed Linux, Debian to be exact. Unfortunately I always get an error message when installing the HPLIP. Now I have seen that HPLIP is only available for Debian 9.1, but I have Debian 9.3. When will there be support for Debian 9.3? I have an HP Deskjet 2540, which unfortunately I cannot use, I would be very grateful for help or a solution.
