HP LaserJet 100 Color MFP M175 not working

Asked by Jeremy

Hi,

I need to use the printer HP LaserJet 100 Color MFP M175. The HPLIP 3.15.6 and HP plugins are installed. According to HPLIP support devices (https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index), this printer should be supported in min version 3.11.7. But I couldn't find the directly match ppd, the CUPS web interface recommends ppd "HP 910" instead. Whenever I use this ppd and trigger a test print request, the paper is out but the context is garbled.

My question is why I cannot find the desired ppd even when it's in the support list. What can I do to fix this problem.

Thank you.

Hi Jeremy,

The printer should find the desired PPD at the time of installation. We will fix this problem in the next available release.

Thanks,
Nishitha
