Fedora -2 OS, netwroking printer model

Asked by V MUKUNDAR

One of my application software is running on Fedora -2 OS. The system is connected with network printer HP 3600dn along with other systems which are working on different OS like Fedora-12 Red hat Linux -4. Presently spare parts are not available for the same in market. Could you give the details of any latest network printer which can be connected to the system through Ethernet port.

Hi Mukundar,

Can you provide more information seen on what was the error seen with the printer in Fedora -2 OS? Were you not able to add the printer through the driver or print not happening after the successful addition of the printer? Please share the hp-check -t logs for our further analysis. Please refer the site - https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index for the printers supported in HPLIP. The Connectivity column in the table lists down the printer connectivity capability (network/usb/wireless).

Thanks,
Nishitha
