Looking for HP M506 driver for HP ThinPro (Ubuntu-based OS)

I see that the HP M506 is fully supported in hplip 3.15.11 USB,Network. I have 3.17.11 downloaded, but do not see a PDD for HP Laserjet Enterprise M506. I have several M506 USB printers connected to devices with HP Thin Pro 6-64, which is Ubuntu based, and the print quality is inconsistent and often incorrect. The printers were working with Windows desktops, so I don't think the printers are the issue.

I have tried configuring different HP LaserJet drivers as well as generic PostScript printers. I have better results with the generic PostScript printers, but it's still not ready for production use. I can't fully upgrade hplib on these systems, but I hoped to import the 3.17.11 pdds for the M506 if I can find the correct one to use.

Hi Debbie,

HP Thin Pro6-64 OS is not supported by HPLIP driver. Please let us know the steps followed to install the hplip driver in this OS. Also, please provide us hp-check logs for further analysis.
