Debian 9.3 - failed installation

Hello,

I was trying to install hplip so I could - you know - do some printing but my installation failed due to:

error: A required dependency 'pyqt4-dbus (PyQt 4 DBus - DBus Support for PyQt4)' is still missing.
error: A required dependency 'pyqt4 (PyQt 4- Qt interface for Python (for Qt version 4.x))' is still missing.
error: Installation cannot continue without these dependencies.
error: Please manually install this dependency and re-run this installer.

Is there an easy way to install those dependencies? I downloaded PyQt, but could'n run it because sth called qmake was missing, and I got lost. I have no idea about python, I am just a simple C gal :<

Hi Szerlin,

Debian 9.3 is not yet supported by HPLIP, so the missing dependencies will not get installed. Please use Debian 9.1 or any other previous versions to install HPLIP driver.
