ppd file for HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf Multifunction Printer

Have warning in syslog: hp-check[30130]: warning: Failed to read /etc/cups/ppd/HP_LaserJet_Professional_M1212nf_MFP.ppd ppd file

Seems that PPD files are owned by root and cannot be read by user(don)

don@don-m2:/etc/cups/ppd$ ls -l
total 16
-rw-r----- 1 root lp 2621 Feb 6 2017 HP_LaserJet_Professional_M1212nf_MFP_fax.ppd
-rw-r----- 1 root lp 11111 Feb 6 2017 HP_LaserJet_Professional_M1212nf_MFP.ppd

believe I installed hplip-3.17.10 yesterday? How to fix this or what permissions should it be.

Note: Not urgent since print and fax work fine wo/ppd files

You should make user don a member of the lp group.
