HPLIP

Installation error

I'm trying to install hplip via automatic installer. But i get this error 'make' cammand failed with status code 2. I tried a lot of version but the error remains the same. I'm using Ubuntu 16.04. Repository version doesn't support my model (Laserjet MfP M26a). How can I solve this issue? Thanks

Hi,

Can you please mention which HPLIP version you are using and attach the error screen shot you are getting.
Also try with the latest HPLIP Version 3.17.10 because I am able to see Laserjet MFP M26a in the printer model list.
