settings dont change
Hello,
I am changed the setting of my Officejet 6110 to print a few photos. Now I am trying to change it back to A4, draft, default time for drying ...etc
but it is not changing, I change the settings and then when it refreshes it goes back to landscape, 30 secs ...etc (the settings which i used for the photo!)
Would you please help me fix this issue? I want to print!

How are you changing the settings?
You'll want to run:
hp-toolbox
then click the printer, then print settings.
Hope this helps.

That is exactly what i did, however, it keeps reverting to the photo settings mentioned above every 30 seconds (the refresh period), I aslo tried changing the settings with CUPS but it is useless. I tried uninstalling hplip and reinstalling it but the also did not do any good

Run:
cat ~/.cups/lpoptions
and post the output.

Default yhs PageSize=A4 PrintoutMode=Draft outputorder=reverse
but hp-toolbox settings prevail over the cups settings, plus i cannot set
many other things in CUPS

We don't test on Arch--although HPLIP should work correctly. Because we don't test on it directly it's hard for me to say what the problem might be. Have you tried posting your question to the Arch user forums? Also you could try uninstall hplip, foomatic, and cups--and then re-install to see if that might make a difference.
Although if you do find an answer I'd appreciate it if you could post the resolution to help other Arch users that might encounter the same problem.
If not that's okay too. :)
Because we don't test on Arch I can't provide much more information.
Sorry I couldn't help more--and thanks for your support of HPLIP.
Aaron
