Bluetooth c5580

I was wondering if there are plans for bluetooth support in hplip, because I just bought the photosmart c5580 and would really like to be able to scan wirelessly. Printer works under ubuntu, but is not detected by hp toolbox.

HPLIP does not currently support printing over Bluetooth. This is on our todo list for a possible feature in the future. Although I can't promise if/when/if ever this will happen.

Since the election to not support (currently) Bluetooth printing and my C5580 is currently connected via the rear USB connection to my desktop computer, can I remove the front USB Bluetooth "dongle" and simply connect my laptop to the front USB connection to have the printer/scanner simultaneously connected to two different computers? (Geez, long sentence (smile))
