I just seen that hplip-2.8.10 has been released (10/31/08) and am wondering where I can find a plugin for LaserJet M1522 MFP for scanning?

If you download hplip 2.8.10 and then run the tool hp-plugin it will download it automatically.

or you can download it directly from here:

http://www.linuxprinting.org/download/printdriver/auxfiles/HP/plugins/
