Kernel version 2.4.20 and HPLIP 2.8.9

Hi,

Is there any dependency of kernel version for HPLIP implementation??

Here we are trying to implement HPLIP on linux kernel with version 2.4.20.

Has any one ported HPLIP on linux kernel version 2.4.20 ???

Kernel 2.4.20 shouldn't be a problem--although we haven't tested on that old of a kernel in a long time..
