Multipage scan results in reverse scan on alternate pages

Linux - Ubuntu 16.04
Printer -HP Office jet pro 276dw

When a multipage document is scanned using hp-scan with following command "hp-scan --dup --mode=color”, the reverse/back side pages ares scanned in opposite direction.

Is there any option in hp-scan to explicitly set the scan to bind on long edge instead of binding on short edge ?
