Installing plugin 3.16.11

Good day,

i can't install hp plug-in 3.16.11 after installing hplip-3.16.11, i get this error message
"error: Python gobjet/dbus may be not installed"
"error: Plug-in installed failed"

i have debian 8.7 with packages "python-qt4" and "python-qt4-dbus" installed already

anyone have a solution?

Hi,

You are requested to download and install the latest version of hplip-3.16.11. using the .run file.

followed by downloading the "plugin.run" file and "plugin.asc" file from

https://www.openprinting.org/download/printdriver/auxfiles/HP/plugins/

Then from the command line execute "hp-plugin" and choose the option "select and install an existing copy".

Write back if the issue continues

yes, this is what exactly am trying to do but every time i get the message which says that the plugin is not installed, and get the same error in the terminal
