HP laserjet mfp pro 130a failed to print

I have purchased HP laserjet mfp pro 130a and can not do print or scan jobs. Laptop is ok with other printers, but not with this one.

I have Linux Mint 18.1 Serena.

Hi,

This seems to be a problem of plugin. Can you install the plugin with command "hp-plugin" and then check out the things. If the problem exists even after installing the plugins, need some logs from syslog to find out the exact reasons of the problem. You can get the logs by using following way.

Open a terminal and type following command "tail -f /var/log/syslog 2>&1 | tee ~/log.txt" and give a print job from any application.
After the job type CTRL+C in the terminal. Your log file will be in HOME directory. Please upload the same here.
