Can't start printer

Asked by Lyle

When asked the password to start the printer I entered the password and it request the password again. I executed hplip-2.8.7 again with the same results. What can I do to make the program recognize my password. The Multi-function HP Desktop F4280 with Fedora 9 scans but will not print.
