Is the plugin for P1505 also available for MIPS32?

I'm thinking about buying a P1505, and want to connect it to my Asus WL-500g Premium (WLAN Router with USB-ports, able to run OpenWRT, see http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Hardware/Asus/WL500GP)

According to http://hplip.sourceforge.net/models/laserjet/hp_laserjet_p1505.html, the proprietary plugin is REQUIRED for this printer.

As this little box features a MIPS32-CPU, an x86-plugin wouldn't be of much help though :)

Is there any chance you can compile the plugin for this architecture? (complete cross-compiling toolchains are available from the OpenWRT-project)

problem is not exactly solved, but I'm just buying a printer with postscript-support :)
