icc-profile information

I have just installed a Photosmart Pro B8850 printer to run under Ubuntu 7.10

Where can I find (download) the appropriate icc-profiles for the printer or should I simply try to find profiles for the paper that I intend to use?

I will bew printing through DigiKam

The color mapping comes with HPLIP. I'm not exactly sure what you are wanting to do? What paper do you want to print on that isn't supported?
