HPLIP does not support HP scanjet devices.

The alternative is to use sane, however it appears that this device is currently not supported by sane.

Sorry I couldn't help more!

If you're looking for an HP solution be sure to check the supported products page first.

http://hplip.sourceforge.net/supported_devices/index.html

Other than that I would do a google and see if there are some ORC/products to meet your needs.

Can you help with this problem?
