No A3 printing anymore in laserjet 5000n -ubuntu A4 works ok

Hello,

I have the latest Ubuntu - kernel and my printer cannot print A3 anymore. From open office i send the printing it says printing job started and then completed but the printer does not do anything. The printer used to work properly. I tried to use the old kernel to see whether the update changed anything but i have still the same problem. A4 works ok only A3 has the problem. The printer does not respond at all.

The printer works perfectly under windows on both A3 and A4.

My config:
Ubuntu 8.04 latest kernels
Laserjet 5000N via ethernet
hplip 2.8.5

Try to uninstall and then re-install the printer from the cups web interface:

http://localhost:631
