Printing using Ubutu Linux 7.10 and HP C5280

I am looking to purchase an Ubutu 7.10 linux system, but before I do, I want to make sure that I can install my HP C5280 printer on it. Would you happen to know if this printer is compatible? How would I install it?

The photosmart C5280 is supported by HPLIP 2.7.6 and greater.

HPLIP 2.7.7 is installed with Ubuntu 7.10 so if you run:

sudo apt-get install python-qt3

then

sudo hp-setup

It should install and configure the printer.

Although you can install the latest hplip from htt://hplip.sf.net using the automatic installer works on Ubuntu 7.10.
